The Isla Grand is beautifully located on the blue gulf shore of the famous South Padre Island. The accommodations are beautiful hotel rooms and condos.
The schedule is filled with great activities including challenging beach games and tournaments. The afternoons have a variety of beach activities. The morning and evening rallies are jammed with fun and excitement. Interface Band will get you pumped as we enter into the awesome praises of God. So grab your gear and prepare to spin into an incredible experience that will take your life to a whole new level.
Camp Speaker - Scotty Gibbons
Scotty Gibbons has been the director of Realife Student Ministries at James River Assembly since 1993. When he started, Scotty could drive the entire youth group around in a van. Today, the Realife Student Center is home to more than 1,000 students and 200 volunteer leaders.
Scotty is a nationally recognized youth communicator with a passion for reaching students and equipping leaders.
Scotty, his wife Casey and their daughters live in Ozark, Missouri.
In a week of Camp Padre, Scotty will motivate and challenge students through his humorous and personal approach in making the Bible come alive to inspire and motivate students to live their lives to the greatest potential God has called them to.
The Band - Summerlin
Summerlin is a powerful young worship band that will lead Camp Padre into a place of deep worship and connection with God. Their music is energetic and intense. Students will experience the power to reach their worlds as Summerlin leads them to the face of God.
Drama Group - 180 Productions
The drama team will have an amazing ability to illustrate the gospel through awesome animation, dynamic drama and music. They will illustrate the messages that make the gospel come alive in sight and sound. This creative ministry will greatly impact the way you view the word and your life.
Schlitterbahn Beach Waterpark
Thursdays trip to Schlitterbahn Beach provides a full day of family fun in a tropical resort setting. Cruise the endless Rio Aventura and let it carry you from ride to ride without having to get out of the water! Blast uphill and down on four water coasters! Surf the largest manmade wave in the USA! Explore a giant sandcastle! At the end of the day will be Camp Padre�s annual beach front Luau.
